AB 131 Messenger Bag Blue

We wanted to create a bag that is very light – yet meets all the demands of everyday life. It is often described as an all-rounder. With its particularly thin, supple leather and universal size, it sits comfortably and close to the body. To achieve this, we reduced the thickness of our leather from its original 1.6 mm to 0.9 mm – a fine handcrafted process in which delicate layers are shaved from the underside. This allowed us to reduce the weight to just 253 g.

The folded, open flap allows quick access while also adapting to larger formats – offering maximum flexibility. On the back, a zippered compartment provides secure space for valuables. One detail I particularly appreciate: the two shoulder straps. The shorter strap lets you carry the bag close under the arm, with the arm naturally covering the main compartment. The longer strap turns it into a crossbody bag, while the shorter strap rests casually across the bag.
